01/09/2010 - Security Australia 2010: MOBOTIX Presents The New IP Video Door Station In Sydney

Langmeil, Germany, 2010-09-01. This year, MOBOTIX will once again present its latest products at the Security Australia, the largest and renowned trade fair for security technology in Australia. The Hemispheric IP Video Door Station T24 with access control, as well as additional home automation components that enable the station to be controlled using a smart phone (for example the Apple iPhone) will be exhibited at Stand B22 in the middle of Hall 4.

The T24 captures the entire entrance area without any blind spots, from wall to wall, floor to ceiling. When the doorbell rings, a connection is established with a VoIP video phone, a standard computer or tablet computer via the network. This makes it possible to gain audio and video access to the door station from anywhere in the world. Digital voice messages can be left at the door station and accessed later. Access rights can also be customized conveniently and easily by entering a PIN code or using an RFID transponder. Events outside the building’s door can be automatically recorded continuously or on an event-controlled basis with lip-synchronized sound on an integrated memory. The T24 is based on the international video telephony standard VoIP/SIP and H.264.

Furthermore, MOBOTIX will present its complete hemispheric video solutions consisting of camera and video management software that provides comprehensive 360° room coverage, while also offering a zoom function (PTZ) that enables users to closely examine an image section that is of possible interest.
