26/02/2007 - Everything Under Control With MxControlCenter
At CeBIT 2007, MOBOTIX AG, a manufacturer of network cameras based in Kaiserslautern, Germany, will present a professional control center software for the first time at booth C33 in hall 15. MxControlCenter is equipped with event search functions able to operate network cameras as well as analog PTZ cameras made by TVI, Siemens and Bosch using a joystick. This software is being used successfully at the Kaiserslautern soccer stadium since the 2006 World Cup. MxControlCenter is available free of charge with every Mobotix camera and comes with a license for an unlimited number of cameras and users. Unlike other control center software, MxControlCenter supports the decentralized recording technology used by Mobotix cameras. This technology not only brings higher performance of approx. 1200 VGA images per second, but it also bridges network failures and bandwidth fluctuations even when using WiFi connections.
The control center software supports all Mobotix functions, dual-screen technology and has been developed specifically with a focus on easy installation. All cameras in the network can be located automatically at the touch of a button and are prepared for recording with the video motion sensor. The integrated layout editor provides for quickly designing floor plans. Thanks to automatically synchronized time tracking, it is possible to search for events on several different cameras simultaneously. The correction of the wide-angle lens distortion in the live display as well as in recording playback is a standard feature, just like image section enlargement and editing for printing and storage functions.
