Lens Options

Most MOBOTIX camera models can be equipped with individual lens combinations as requested.

M22M Camera Series

The M22 IT cameras come complete with a standard lense (L22 super wide angle). The M22 Sec cameras can be ordered without lens or with any available lens. Lenses can be easily retro fitted after installation.

Any additional lenses ordered will be packed separately and charged at a rate of EUR 60 net. They can be installed individually directly on location.

M12D Camera Series

For the M12 models, the lenses have been factory-preset and locked (glued) in place (exception L135) ensuring optimum focus during the complete camera life cyle. This gives the camera extra robustness and prevents changes in focus due to wind-induced shaking for example. This also means that the lenses can only be focused at the factory.

Installing a lens (L43/L135) at a later date costs a flat rate of EUR 200 net (EUR 300 net for both lenses!). This includes the new lens and the installation costs.

D12D Camera Series

All the MOBOTIX lenses listed below can be used and installed directly on location.

Before purchasing the camera, the buyer can indicate which combination of lenses he would like. The sensor boards with the lenses are pre-adjusted in the factory, so that they can be installed easily on installation.

You can use the following order numbers to indicate which lenses you would like to order.

Note: In the color sensors, the infrared CUT filter is NOT in the lens, but rather already installed in the lens casing in the camera..

All the lenses can be used for recording images either during the day or at night. Depending on whether the camera is to be adjusted for recording images in light or dark surroundings, the lenses have to be ordered along with a day sensor (color sensor with infrared blocking filter) or with a night sensor (black-and-white sensor without the infrared filter). For the L22 Super wide-angle lens, for example, the day version has the order number D22, while the night version is order no. N22.

An entire room can be monitored with the MOBOTIX Super wide-angle lens, a lens with little distortion and no shadowing.

90° Super wide-angle (90° horizontal angle, 67° vertical angle

L32 Wide-Angle Lens (not for the M12D and M10D camera series)

f = 6 mm (corresponds to a 32 mm miniature camera)

L43 Wide-Angle Lens

45° horizontal angle, 34° vertical angle

f = 8 mm (corresponds to a 43 mm miniature camera)
Image width at a distance of 10 m: 8.2 x 6.1 m

L65 Telephoto Lens (not for the M12D and M10D camera series)

31° horizontal angle, 23° vertical angle

f = 12 mm (corresponds to a 65 mm miniature camera)

L135 Telephoto Lens

15° horizontal angle, 11° vertical angle

Changing the lens at a later date MOBOTIX will also exchange lenses at a later date for a flat rate fee of EUR 200 (without sales tax). This charge includes the lens and the cost of installation.
