MOBOTIX cameras can now transmit messages or be called via the integrated SIP client both locally in the LAN and worldwide via an SIP provider. Alarms (such as when motion is detected in the image) can be forwarded automatically via ISDN and IP telephony. To do so, the camera dials the phone numbers stored for this purpose until the agreed PIN is entered via the telephone keypad. Using the integrated touchtone interface, camera functions such as enabling recording or opening a door can be remote-controlled via the camera switch output by simply pressing the number keys.
