ActiveX component for viewing MxPEG streams (video and audio) in Internet Explorer and individual applications (see also the MOBOTIX SDK). This version achieves better performance when using free scaling of the displayed video thanks to additional options.

Automatic Installation

• Download the file MxPEG_ActiveX_V*.zip and store it in a separate folder.
• Open the folder in Windows Explorer and unpack the ZIP file (right-click > Send to > Zip-compressed folder). The folder now contains the two subfolders cab and paks).
• In the folder ocx, open the file MxPEG_ActiveX.html using Internet Explorer.
• When loading the file, Internet Explorer automatically tries to install the component and asks for your permission to do so. Click on Install to proceed.

Internet Explorer installs the ActiveX component and finishes loading the page. Shortly after that, the frame on the page shows a message, such as "5s disconnected, retry # 1". Enter the IP or web address of a MOBOTIX camera in the IP field, then click on Set. If the address is correct, the component may show a user name/password dialog before it shows the live stream.

System Requirements:

• The processor speed should be higher than 1 GHz.
• This version requires Windows XP SP3 or higher.
