Dr. Ralf HinkelCEO and founder of Mobotix AGFrom 1978 to 1989 Dr Ralf Hinkel studied information technology and electrotechnology at the University of Kaiserslautern and completed a doctorate there. After his studies he founded QUADRIGA-Sensortechnik GmbH, Kaiserslautern (now TRIMBLE Kaiserslautern GmbH), which was active in the development, production and sale of laser measurement devices. In 1997 Dr Hinkel sold his shares in this company and, together with his wife Sabine and long-time friend and business partner Klaus Borchers, founded MOBOTIX AG in 1999. Ralf Hinkel was winner of the 1978 "Jugend forscht" prize in his home state of Rhineland-Palatinate. He was also awarded the Philip Morris Research prize in 1986. |

Lutz CoelenChief Financial OfficerLutz Coelen has been Chief Financial Officer(CFO) of MOBOTIX AG since October 2005 while also successfully managing the MOBOTIX sales group on an interim basis until the end of 2010. Previously, he was a managing partner in several medium-sized consulting firms and a partner of the accounting firm "Ebner, Stolz & Partner GmbH". Lutz Coelen began his career in 1995 at "IBM Informationssysteme GmbH" in Stuttgart, where he most recently held the position as Head of Business Development for the sector of medium-sized businesses for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. He studied Business Management at the University of Bielefeld (Germany) and obtained the degree of "Diplom-Kaufmann" (Master of Business Administration). |

Dr. Magnus EkerotChief Sales OfficerDr. Magnus Ekerot has been Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of MOBOTIX AG since January 1, 2011. He previously served as General Manager at Beijer Electronics AB in Sweden, a publicly listed manufacturer of HMI (Human Machine Interface) displays. In addition, Dr. Magnus Ekerot has years of experience in the network camera field, including five years as Managing Director at AXIS Communications, where he was responsible for the German-speaking regions, the Netherlands and Eastern Europe. Dr. Ekerot graduated with a Master of Science in International Economic Sciences from the University of Lund in Sweden as well as from the Edinburgh University in Scotland. He earned his PhD from the "Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich" and fromthe Henley Management College in Great Britain, where he had successfully already completed the MBA program in strategic management one year earlier. |

Dr. Oliver GabelChief Technical OfficerDr. Oliver Gabel has been Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of MOBOTIX AG since January 1, 2011 and is responsible for Development and Production. His career at MOBOTIX AG began in 2006 as assistant to Dr. Ralf Hinkel and he was very involved in all areas of development and production. In 2009 he became the Head of early product development. Prior to joining MOBOTIX AG, Oliver Gabel earned his PhD from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern at the Department of Automation Technology and dealt with Internet technologies and ambient intelligence. During his studies in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Kaiserslautern from 1993 to 2000, he spent one semester at the Indian Institute of Science in Bagalore, India. |
