Image size in MCC only in half, full or double...

Is there any plans to include dynamic scaling in future releases ?

scaling

Could you please explain what you mean by the phrase 'image scaling'? Is it the changing of the resolution? If yes, then the image resolution of MOBOTIX cameras can be changed from PDA(160*120) to QXGA(2048*1536). You can also make your OWN (custom image) size.

From the web-browser interface the settings may be changed either from the pop-up menus of from Setup Menu->General Image Settings.
In MxCC you should open Camera Configuration Menu and change the resolution.

If you mean the changing of the window's size in grid in MxCC as 'image scaling', then you may use Layout Manager and make your own grid with different types of camera windows.

The other way of scaling in MxCC is using external image windows which can be scaled flexibly.

Ok, lets say I have a monitor with 1920x1080 resolution.
I need to show 4 different cameras on the screen in full screen mode.

Any suggestions ?

resolution

You always have to think beforehand of what you need to see and what is your aim in general. You say that your monitor is 1920*1080. So if you need to watch cameras like on the screen shot in your message, then you need resolution of 960*540 for each camera. Try custom image size to get this effect.
Some issues related to the dynamic image scaling are mostly because of the objective reasons. MxControlCenter just receives the stream from the camera itself, it means that the camera has already sent digital image with all the analysis owing internal camera software. It can be scaled somehow, but not dynamically.
You may also use MxEasy, it has FullScreen function, something like what you want to get.

Full screen quad layout.

Andrii,

I'm back to my original problem...
Yes I can change resolution of the camera to reflect the size of my monitor;
BUT, I cannot show four cameras at the same time in FULL SCREEN (a quad layout).
The grid manager is a piece of work in itself, only predefined sizes are supported (960x540 not available).
I came across a number of posts on this forum with requests for this particular problem with no real solution...
Unfortunately I’m resorting to a third party software, Luxriot...
I hope that MxCC will improve with the future releases.

Scaling is possible

09 junio 2010 14:30:45

With the latest version of MXCC (2.3)
there's a possibility of scaling the images.
Right click on a grey piece where the cams show and choose View-> Free Scaling.
The camera(s) will now scale to the full size of the window regarding recording/image settings.
