I am looking at having a T24 installed and would like to use a wall mounted 5 to 8 inch touch screen VOIP/SIP compliant display as the indoor unit.
Maybe something like:

I see the Grandstream GXV3140 is a recommended internal VOIP phone unit. I was not after the phone handset set arrangement, rather a standalone wall mounted display with the following features:
- Display
- Camera
- Microphone
- Interface to unlock door.
Has anyone already done this or have something they can recommend that I could source from Australia.

Thanks for the reply. Can't seem to find a distributor in Australia.
Any other suggestion for a viewing screen for inside intercom with the t24.
I had the t24 setup for 3 - 4 months now but it really doesn't do the job I was hoping for.
I just wanted to be able to communicate from the front door to several internal wall mounted screens, with door control. I thought I could have it preview the outside footage prior to connecting ( VoIP), no computers running no mx software. A stand alone system operating as a standard intercom with the added functionality of ip based technology.
I think I should have done a bit more research prior to purchasing the Mobotix T24.

If you dont like the phone handset arrangement of the GXV3140 you might like the GXV3175.

GXV3175 is not 100% ok with T24

Pay attention, the GXV3175 is not 100% compatible with T24; for example the OSD (On Screen Display) is not completely shown during a video call and there might be further limitations.
Currently only GXV3140 is fully suported and recommended.

In regards to the GXV-3175, the integration is under development from both sides Grandstream/Mobotix to have full integration of the GXV-3175 as well.

You might want to look into this:

It is a 7" wall mounted touch panel with direct support for the Mobotix T24 video door phone.
I think this product meets all your requirements:
- You can receive VoIP calls from the T24
- You can preview video from the T24, without establishing a VoIP connection
- You can open the door from the touch panel (also without establishing a VoIP connection)
- This is a standalone unit. No computer and no Mx software is required.
