The more functions the joystick has, the more options you have. Please make sure that the MxCC is closed when connecting the Joystick to the PC. Once connected, open the MxCC. This must be done in order for the MxCC to acknowledge the joystick.
MX Publications: 0	my 2 joysticks Vendredi 20 Août 2010 8:43:53 am I had 2 joysticks one logitech for games and one for CCTV called "AXIS 295". So from my experience a specialized CCTV joystick gives higher precision and it's buttons are placed in a more convenient way.

And you can also use a thing called a SpaceNavigator by 3Dconnection (Logitech) which is used for CAD and it takes up much less room than a normal joystick. It's a bit strange at first to use because you can push and pull in all three XYZ directions (well hey, it's a 3d mouse for CAD, right?) and, but once you get the knack of it, it's pretty decent (it's also the perfect thing to use to "fly" around in Google Earth () - and it's relatively cheap and easy to carry around with a laptop, for those professionals of you that are always "on the go". happy camera monitoring! Michae...sworth Publications: 0	Wow, that brings back memories. Lundi 25 Octobre 2010 9:15:34 pm I still have my Serial SpaceOrb 360 game controller, too bad it only works in Win 95. When we add a PTZ controller to some of the cams I'll order a SpaceNavigator, it would be perfect for me, I'm already used to it. BTW, it doesn't move, It just detects force applied, kinda like the button mice on laptops.
