Local storage capacity on 8 GB SD card

Hi. I'm planning a stand-alone installation of a Mobotix camera, not connected via cable or wireless. When a theft or vandalism occurrs, we just get the SD card and view the images.

I would like to know, using an 8 GB SD card installed on board of the camera, how many days of continuous recording I can reasonably assume to be able to store on a 8 GB SD card, in a "good" resolution, where "good" means being able to recognize faces, persons and license plate numbers of cars.

Found the below link which should give you an idea of how much you will be able to store. Just select the proper variables and it will give you a good estimate. I've used it for server storage and NAS estimates and it is a good baseline.
