21/11/2006 - MOBOTIX reports sales increase of almost 30%

MOBOTIX AG, a manufacturer of high-resolution network cameras, reports sales amounting to EUR 15.5 million in fiscal year 2005/2006. Compared to the previous year, this figure is an increase of close to 30 percent. At the same time, approximately 20 new employees were hired bringing the total MOBOTIX staff to 90 persons at the company's international headquarters in Kaiserslautern at the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2006. MOBOTIX is thus holding a steady course on the road to success since the founding of the company in 1999 and continues to maintain a firm foothold in the rapidly growing network camera market. All in all, the company has sold approximately 100,000 camera systems to date, all of which were completely developed and manufactured in Germany. International sales have developed particularly well for MOBOTIX in the last fiscal year. "Our export trade continues to increase and currently represents about 50 percent of our business," Dr. Ralf Hinkel continued.
