This software release runs on all MOBOTIX cameras using the PXA320 “XScale” hardware platform; the first MOBOTIX cameras with this new platform are the Q24M, the D24M and the M24M models (successors of the Q22M, D22M and M22M models).

The XScale platform reaches twice the frame rates compared to the predecessor models. This means that the cameras will generate up to 20 fps when using 3MEGA resolution (2048x1536 pixels); the other resolutions (CIF, TV-PAL, VGA and MEGA) allow frame rates of up to 30 fps. Besides the many proven features of the predecessor versions, this versions brings a number of improvements and enhancements in exposure control, image settings, data storage, Hemispheric functions, LED signaling and a new ActiveX control.

This version also supports Hemispheric cameras with black-and-white image sensor.

The release also features enhanced virtual PTZ (vPTZ) functionality with new display modes, full image recording (cameras can store the image of the entire image sensor although the current live image has been zoomed) and full ExtIO connectivity via Ethernet or USB.
