Mobotix App activating IP Notify Profile

Friday, 17 May 2013 5:16:42 pm

I have a Loxone Miniserver with which I open my front door (relay that activates the unlocking mechanism). I use the 'IP Notify Profile' in my Mobotix T24 to send an http request to the Loxone Miniserver over my home network. For example: if the pin code entered on the mobotix keypad is correct (throught the event 'Internal: Granted PIN access'), the Mobotix sends a http request to the Loxone Miniserver, and this closes the relay, which opens the door.

Up until now, I used the QCam Pro App on my Ipad to communicate with the T24. In this App, I could define an action to send the http request to the Loxone, to open the door.

My question now is: on the Mobotix App, there is a button to open the door. (This opens de door IF connected via the EXTIO module, which is not the case in my setup, I just use the ethernet module). Can I configure the App or the Camera so that it will send a predefined HTTP request (eg via IP Notify Profile) whenever the button is pressed in the Mobotix App.

I believe it is not possible directly, but maybe someone has a workaround?

Thanks for the help

io

I think you can do it with the IO module.

connecting eli/c on an input.
Then do an action that switch of eli/c and also send an http command to camera ( /control/rcontrol and command ) with a tcp message.
You do an action that react on that tcp message.

Solution

I believe this is a workaround, so may not be supported in future versions. The idea is that you make the T24 believe there is an IO module installed, while in reality it is just an ethernet module (main advantage of my setup is increased security; no possibility to close the contact outside by just connecting two wires, as it is based on an http request).
1) Define a Signal Out Event (go to Setup Menu, then Event Overview, then add a signal event, which is a signal output --> Device Out: ~door) which will be activated when the 'door button' on the App is pressed
2) Define an Action, based on this Signal Out Event (go to Setup Menu, then Action Group Overview, then create an Action to be executed when the Event [pressing the door button in the App] is active (see description on Loxone website regarding http requests from the T23 to the loxone miniserver)

Hope this helps.

One more step

Sorry, I forgot to include the most important step: fool the camera to think there is a IO module installed:

Go to Admin Menu, Assign Wires, under Door Release Actuator, select 'Keypad: OUT'

You have to do this step, before step 1) and 2) of my previous reply.

Hey Mr. Tc Matic,
Can you send me some screenshots of your http request in mobotix and loxone?
Thank you,
Chris
