Regional Event Manager EMEA & APAC (m/f/d)

Your Job

  • Planning and organizing a mixture of events, such as partner events, national & international exhibitions, roadshows, webinarsand support various inhouse events, both physical and virtual
  • Communicating, maintaining, developing and managing relationships with event related partners (Suppliers for Hotels, AV, F&B, Decor, (Airport) Transfers, Musicians, Stand Builders, Fair Organizations, etc.)
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish (complete event budgets, budget controlling and increases, check invoices, arrange payments etc.)
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Booking of event equipment and requesting transports through Event Logistic
  • Travel to and participate in Exhibitions or other sales related events (local, national and international) where useful & needed
  • Close co-operation with the Regional Sales Managers or Sales Director and Inside Sales Managers
  • Ensuring, in conjunction with the ISM, that affective post event actions take place, eg. Thank You mailings, lead management, event review and ROI evaluation
  • Assisting the sales teams with specialist Event advice and recommendations
  • Ensuring that lessons identified and Best Practice is defined and regularly shared with the Sales Teams
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery for all activities
  • General Event related tasks as required

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a Business related field
  • Previous experience in a Sales or Marketing Management role
  • General IT Know-How, and interest in IP Technology and the ability to learn new skills quickly
  • High level of Business and Customer orientation
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a structured and organized manner
  • Self driven and perseverant with an acute awareness of deadlines, costs and figures
  • Have a good degree of creativity and enjoys ‘thinking outside the box’
  • Excellent communication skills including very good English speaking and writing skills
