About the MOBOTIX MxPEG DirectShow Codec

The MOBOTIX MxPEG DirectShow Codec allows playing back MxPEG clips (.mxg files) on 32 and 64 bit Windows computers using Windows Media Player or other DirectShow-enabled applications. MxPEG clips are audio/video recordings from MOBOTIX cameras, which have been exported from MxControlCenter, MxEasy or the browser user interface of a MOBOTIX camera.

Installation

The installer automatically sets the Windows Media Player as the standard application for .mxg files. Once the codec has been installed, you can play back exported MxPEG clips (.mxg files) in Windows Media Player simply by double-clicking on the desired file.
