M12D & MxControlCenter Event Viewing

dinsdag 07 augustus 2007 4:43:31 pm

Two Problems :

1. Time is flashing on MxControlCenter Window meaning there is a time difference between Camera and PC. Can I fix this ? I tried both RFC 868 and 1305.

2. When I select "Open Video Search", I allways get : "Error 103 searching timestamp". Why ? What is wrong ?

time flashing

if the time is flashing on MXCC then your camera does not have the same time as the pc you are viewing it with. Easy fix. goto camera/admin/date & time/ set time to match this computer or use a time server and have your pc use the same one. Hope this helps

Error 103

vrijdag 18 januari 2008 10:41:31 pm

I recieved this error as well. My problem is that it works perfectly on a xp pro computer but errors out on a xp home computer. Mobotix has said that it may be due to bad cabling, or a firewall/virus program issue. Make sure that your windows firewall is turned off and that your virus program plays nice with your camera. Our fix was to go back a version of MXCC. seems to work okay now.

good luck

MX Control Center Port Numbers

dinsdag 04 maart 2008 11:46:28 pm

Are there specific port numbers that need to be opened to be able to view the footage over the Internet? I have no problems viewing the footage when I am connected to the local network but once I connect to the camera over the web, I am not able to see the past footage.

Please help,
