Product Manager IOT Hard- and Firmware (m/f/d)
Your Job
- Development of the worldwide portfolio and roadmap for the MOBOTIX IOT Hard- and Firmware
- Analyze the security market to identify trends and new developments to be added to the portfolio
- Evaluation of market requirements and competitor offering as basis for target pricing and product development
- Definition of requirements for the ongoing Development of the Hardware Portfolio incl. accessories and the ongoing enhancement of Firmware
- Closely collaborate with the different Sales regions to prioritize valuable certifications for the Hardware portfolio
- Prioritize feature requests and requirements in accordance with Business Cases and Feasibility
- Lead development phases of innovation, enhancement and maintenance projects in the respective portfolio
- Closely collaborate with the responsible development teams to secure development progress in accordance with the roadmap
- Closely collaborate with the responsible development teams to make sure the Hardware portfolio maintains highest level of cyber security
- Ownership for projects to deliver specified products in time, functionality and cost together with the nominated Project Lead following the MOBOTIX Gate Process
- Definition and implementation of the business and budget planning for all responsible products
- Analyze Sales results of the respective portfolio as a basis for product life cycle decisions
- Drive market introduction including internal Beta tests and launch presentation
- Support the Documentation, Training and Marketing teams by providing relevant information
- Maintain a strong relationship with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Support and Key Customers
- Accountability for the product lifecycle management of responsible product range
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a economic or technology related field
- 3+ years of experience in Product/Project Management or a related field
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German
- Profound knowledge of the Security Market, VMS systems and IP Camera Technology
- Profound knowledge of MOBOTIX systems is a plus
- Autonomous and consequent with a distinct awareness of deadlines, costs and figures
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, JIRA, Confluence or related products
- Strong analytical, strategic and coordination skills
- Good Presentation Skills
- Negotiation Skills are a plus
- Experience in agile Product Development is a plus
