Madeleine Kraus

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Madeleine Kraus has been a member of the Executive Board of MOBOTIX AG since October 1, 2026. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), she is responsible for the finance division.

Prior to this, she held senior positions in the company’s finance department for many years, most recently as Head of Finance. Madeleine Kraus studied business administration with a focus on finance at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University and the University of West Florida. She began her professional career in Sales Controlling at MOBOTIX AG.

Over the past ten years, she has gained insight into the company - and its finance department in particular—from various perspectives and has supported its development. With her appointment to the Executive Board, the company is deliberately opting for an internal succession plan, thereby ensuring continuity and comprehensive knowledge of the company for shareholders, business partners, and employees.

Christian Cabirol

Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Dr. Christian Cabirol has been Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of MOBOTIX AG since April 1, 2023. He graduated in 2009 with a degree in Information Technology from the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University of Kaiserslautern-Landau. He has many years of experience in product development and research, where he can look back on many years of experience, including his research activities in optical communication systems in cooperation with Cisco Systems.

Dr. Cabirol has been with MOBOTIX since 2016 and has led the development of the company’s camera software in recent years. As a member of the Management Board, he is responsible for product development, research, and technology partnerships—key pillars of the company’s solution-oriented strategy. From October 2026 on he is also responsible for Supply Chain and thus the departments Bereichen Procurement, Manufacturing/Repair and Distribution.

Aleksandar Smiljanic

Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO)

Aleksandar Smiljanic has been Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) of MOBOTIX AG since October 1, 2026. After earning his degree in business administration from the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, he completed a Master’s in Financial Management with a focus on security technology at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences. On the Executive Board, he is responsible for sales and marketing, international market development, the expansion of the global sales force, and compliance.
Aleksandar Smiljanic brings many years of international leadership experience in demanding technology markets, as well as in dealing with government clients and agencies. His expertise includes establishing global sales structures, strategic corporate management, technology-driven product portfolio expansions in hardware and software, and the development of new markets. Thanks to previous projects in the field of security-critical applications, he is already very familiar with MOBOTIX.
With his international experience and network - particularly in the fields of defense, military medicine, and other growth markets - he will strengthen the company’s global core business in AI-powered video security. At the same time, he will tap into high-margin markets and leverage international sales potential to sustainably advance MOBOTIX’s market positioning and profitable growth.

Giovanni Santamaria

Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO)

Giovanni Santamaria has been Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) of MOBOTIX AG since June 2025. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Università Cattolica in Milan as well as an MBA from INSEAD. Giovanni brings many years of international management experience with a strong focus on strategic growth, finance, and corporate development. Before joining MOBOTIX, he held senior positions at PwC, GE Capital, and Autoscout24, where he served as CFO. Since 2004, Giovanni has been part of the management team of the CERTINA GROUP as Managing Partner, where he is responsible for the IT division and all investments in Italy. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous corporate transactions across Europe and the USA. As CRO at MOBOTIX, Giovanni is responsible for global sales, marketing, and business development activities.
