Basic Configuration & Application

The training takes place in our eLearning portal 'eCampus'. You will receive your access data at the beginning of the course. All contents are divided into individual learning sections in the training ‘Basic Configuration and Application’. After each learning section an exercise is offered, which is to be performed with the connected camera. This means that you work with a MOBOTIX camera and thus have the opportunity for ‘hands-on’ practice.

Technically, you need the following components:

·      PC with Windows 10 or MAC OS 10.13.6 or higher.

·      Full administration rights for this PC

·      MOBOTIX IoT camera (5, 6 or 7 series)

·      PoE switch

·      Network with Internet access and configuration rights on the Internet router

·      Some network cables

The total time required is about 8 hours, which you can divide over any period of time.

At the end of the online training, you have learned how to set up a first small project. You have now configured both the camera and the MxManagementCenter. The resulting configuration files (*.interchange and *.cfg) from ManagementCenter and the camera should then be sent to ecampus@mobotix.com for review. As a result, we will send you an electronic certificate confirming your successful completion as a ‘Video Security Beginner’.
