MOBOTIX appoints Madeleine Kraus as CFO

Historic Milestone and Generational Change from Within

Winnweiler, August 18, 2026 – MOBOTIX AG is setting the course for continuity while bringing fresh perspectives to its leadership team. The Supervisory Board has appointed Madeleine Kraus (29) to the Management Board with effect from October 1, 2026. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), she will succeed Klaus Kiener, who will leave the company on September 30, 2026, by mutual agreement after ten years as a member of the Management Board responsible for Finance and Operations.

With the appointment of Madeleine Kraus, a female will join the Management Board of MOBOTIX AG for the first time in its history. At the same time, MOBOTIX is placing its trust in a leader who has developed her career within the company. Kraus has been with MOBOTIX since 2016 and has contributed to the company’s development over many years in a variety of finance roles.

“We are very pleased to appoint Madeleine Kraus, a highly accomplished finance professional from both the region and within our own organization, to the Management Board. She knows MOBOTIX, our structures, our markets and our corporate culture first-hand. Her appointment represents continuity and reliability, while also reflecting our clear ambition to bring new perspectives to the company’s future development,” says the Supervisory Board of MOBOTIX AG.

Madeleine Kraus began her career at MOBOTIX in September 2016 as a student in Business Administration with a focus on Finance. After completing her degree, she worked as a Controller for several years. Alongside her professional career, she earned an MBA in General and International Management from the University of West Florida in cooperation with Ludwigshafen University.

Over the following years, Kraus assumed increasing leadership responsibility, initially as Team Lead Controlling, later as Head of Corporate Planning and, since December 2025, as Head of Finance, with responsibility for Controlling and Accounting.

In her new role as CFO, Madeleine Kraus will focus on safeguarding the financial stability of MOBOTIX AG while further strengthening the foundation for sustainable, profitable growth. She combines extensive financial expertise with a deep understanding of the company, its technology and its strategic development.

“I am very grateful for the confidence placed in me by the Supervisory Board and look forward to taking on this new responsibility as a member of the Management Board of MOBOTIX AG. To me, MOBOTIX is not only a company with strong technology and significant potential, but also a company with deep roots in the region I call home. With the restructuring phase now completed, I am convinced that MOBOTIX is well positioned to continue on its path and achieve sustainable growth,” says Madeleine Kraus.

The appointment of Madeleine Kraus also marks another step in the formation of MOBOTIX AG’s newly structured Management Board. As of October 1, 2026, the Management Board will comprise Giovanni Santamaria (CRO), Madeleine Kraus (CFO), Dr. Christian Cabirol (CTO), and Aleksandar Smiljanic, who was recently appointed Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO). Together, the Management Board will continue to advance the strategic and operational direction of MOBOTIX AG and drive the company’s expansion into international growth markets.

The Supervisory Board would also like to express its sincere appreciation to Klaus Kiener for his many years of dedicated service. Since 2016, he has guided MOBOTIX AG through important phases of transformation and restructuring and has played a significant role in shaping the company through challenging times. MOBOTIX AG wishes him all the very best for his professional and personal future.
