MOBOTIX brings Dunkin’ to the CLOUD

VALEO IT Neteye has been a MOBOTIX partner for over 20 years and during this time has integrated almost 8000 MOBOTIX cameras into a customized video solution for more than 300 customers. Thanks to the many years of experience of its employees, VALEO IT Neteye customers benefit from the quality and expertise of the company, which creates unique IP video solutions for its customers that offer maximum security and convenience and are easy to operate at the same time. For 10 years now, DFNBG Gastro GmbH & Co. KG has been a customer of VALEO IT Neteye. The Nuremberg-based company operates numerous catering establishments in a franchise system. These now include 48 Dunkin’ stores. There are also several Subway, Pommesfreunde and Dean&David branches. The restaurants are located throughout Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Thuringia and Saarland. DFNBG employs around 600 people in total, of which around 25 have access to the company›s security systems.

MOBOTIX provides the perfect combination for innovative video solutions

Discreetly installed MOBOTIX cameras provide the necessary security in the Dunkin’ branches and protect employees and customers from potential threats and dangers. The data from the video solution was backed up on site in a MOBOTIX video management system (VMS) - and this led to the next order from DFNBG to VALEO IT Neteye around four years ago.

Access management and GDPR compliance: the MOBOTIX CLOUD as a solution

The continuous growth of DFNBG Gastro GmbH & Co. KG reflects the success of the Nuremberg-based company. At the same time, it also presents the company with challenges, which became apparent in the security system, for example, when it became increasingly complex to manage the access rights of the growing number of employees. In addition, the requirements with regard to data protection regulations for the VMS on site grew, requiring, among other things, a separate room and constantly additional security standards. The requirements were difficult to meet, especially for branch locations in shopping arcades.

 

Around half of the Dunkin’ branches have already been migrated to the cloud. And over the next few years, the remaining Dunkin’ branches of DFNBG Gastro GmbH & Co. KG are to be migrated to the cloud. “I am delighted with the trust that DFNBG has placed in us and it is our aim to live up to it. That is the standard we set for our projects at VALEO IT Neteye and it is also the reason why we rely exclusively on MOBOTIX for video solutions. We want satisfied customers who will entrust us with their next project,” emphasizes Norbert von Breidbach-Bürresheim.

It was clear to us that the system proposed and implemented by VALEO IT Neteye is secure - including cybersecure
- and more than meets our requirements. But the fact that we can now manage all access rights centrally with the MOBOTIX CLOUD is a huge advantage that really saves us time
and money.
