AI-FaceDetect-Deep is the video analysis plugin that detects the faces of the people inside the scene. AI-FaceDetect-Deep can detect both masked and unmasked faces. The app generates an event for a follow-up action when a mask is worn or not, depending on the specific requirements of the customer (e.g. health protection).
The plugin can be used both for statistical purposes (so as to know the number of people inside an area) and for security purposes (for example in order to avoid enabling the opening of doors in the case of people with their faces partially covered, or again in order to detect the presence of faces not covered by personal protective equipment, such as a mask).
AI-FaceDetect-Deep is based on advanced artificial vision and artificial intelligence algorithms and uses deep neural networks, both for face detection and for face classification.
