The Solution Step by Step

1.

Four MOBOTIX cameras with Vaxtor Make Model Color Recognition App are used in each of 300 police vehicles in a city for license plate and vehicle recognition. The emergency services monitor the flowing traffic from the moving police car.

2.

A laptop with subordinate MOBOTIX SYNC is located in the vehicle. The computer is constantly synchronized with the master SYNC in the central control room with real-time data. If there is no Internet connection, only the local MOBOTIX SYNC is accessed until reception in the communication network is available again.

3.

In addition to the license plate and vehicle data (type, make, color), MOBOTIX SYNC can provide crucial additional information about the risk level (e.g., "suspected terrorist") via its lists. In this way, police patrols can detect particular dangers preventively, request special forces immediately, and thus protect themselves effectively.
