MOBOTIX Receives Multiple Product Awards at ISC West 2018

And Expands U.S. Presence and Offerings

New York, USA, May 1, 2018. MOBOTIX, a manufacturer of premium end-to-end network-based physical security solutions, is expanding its US operations with new marketing and sales staff as well as conducting a selective search for new integrator partners. MOBOTIX was recognized as a security industry leader during the recent ISC West 2018 tradeshow with multiple product awards attesting to the quality of their newest offerings.

"We are thrilled to receive these recognitions," said Joseph Byron, Vice President: Americas, MOBOTIX Corp. “These awards come at an exciting time for our company, as we continue to expand our current and future product lines. We look forward to carefully adding to our U.S. base of resellers, technology partners and users with those who would benefit most from our high-end solutions that are designed, engineered and assembled in premium German production facilities.”

The MOBOTIX M16 AllroundDual Multisensor IP Camera is a perfect example to illustrate the current company direction. This new offering was the sole winner of the 2018 Security Industry Association New Product Showcase award in the IP video surveillance cameras category. The New Product Showcase highlights the latest security products and technologies, and included a record number of entries this year. The MOBOTIX camera captures brilliant color during the day and high-contrast monochrome footage in dark settings. The judges were particularly impressed by the M16’s innovative housing that features interchangeable sensor modules to uniquely match the needs of each project and facilitate easy maintenance.

Another highlight of the ISC West 2018 show, MOBOTIX was named as a Platinum Technology Partner by Genetec™ Inc., a leading provider of unified security, public safety, operations and business intelligence solutions. The award of Platinum Partner status, which is held by only eight Genetec technology partners globally, is recognition of the strategic nature of the relationship that includes research and development, testing, business development and sales support for new and existing enterprise clients worldwide.

As part of the relationship with Genetec, the MOBOTIX Mx6 series of outdoor, indoor and thermal cameras is now officially supported in current and future versions of the Genetec Security Center. The integration includes extensive support of the MOBOTIX MxPEG codec along with key features including intelligent video analysis tools and behavioral detection.

Another award for MOBOTIX at ISC West 2018 was the Security Today & GovSec Govies Government Security Award in the Video Surveillance Advanced Imaging Technologies category. It honors outstanding security products focusing specifically on the Government vertical. This award recognized the MOBOTIX S16 DualFlex camera, which provides a unique surveillance form factor consisting of two camera modules that are independently connected to a single camera control unit via two 3m cables. This makes it possible to monitor two neighboring areas or rooms with a single camera system with day or night sensor modules and various lens options.

Other MOBOTIX solutions shown at ISC West 2018 included:

The MOBOTIX Q26 Hemispheric 360° Panoramic IP Camera, an ultra-compact and weatherproof dome camera available in two 6-megapixel versions: a “Day” model with a color sensor and IR blocking filter, and a “Night” model with a black and white sensor.

The MOBOTIX T25 Door Station, an innovative weatherproof, maintenance-free IP Video Intercom/Access Control solution that is easy to install and provides panoramic, high-resolution images that eliminate blind spots.

The MOBOTIX Management Center Software (MxMC) that is included with every MOBOTIX camera and requires no additional software, license or update costs for use.

The MOBOTIX Cybersecurity Initiative, the Cactus Concept, a solution for reliable and holistic protection of end-to-end video systems against cyberattacks.

All MOBOTIX surveillance cameras are equipped with independent memory management, a wide range of communication options (including SIP technology), innovative video analysis and event logic.
