1. Responsibility For Data Processing
Photos and videos will be taken during our events to ensure the visual documentation of our events. The photos are taken on behalf of MOBOTIX AG and are processed by us. It cannot be ruled out that you may be identified directly or indirectly on the photos or videos, which in this regard is considered personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In the following, we will inform you how, for what purposes and for what duration recordings are processed and what rights you have in this regard, in particular with regard to the GDPR.

2. Purpose Of Processing
The photos and videos are taken for MOBOTIX AG as the organizer and will be used and published for internal communication purposes within the company (in brochures, magazines and on the intranet, for example). In addition, the photos and videos are published for follow-up reporting and external communication purposes on our media platforms, such as Facebook or www.mobotix.com. Data processing is based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)1 point (f) of the GDPR. Processing is particularly necessary in order to document the event as well as advertise it.
3. Retention Period
The photos and videos will be stored for five years. An exception to this applies to videos/photos with a historical value that are archived for use in future historical publications, such as the corporate history.
4. Data Transmission
If videos/photos are published on one of our social media channels, we cannot rule out that the videos/photos may be transmitted to a country outside the EU. The social media services we use are certified according to the EU/US standard contract clauses and are obliged to comply with the provisions of the GDPR.
5. Your Rights
You have the right
- to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 of the GDPR;
- to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 16 of the GDPR;
- to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 of the GDPR, unless the processing of it is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
- to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 of the GDPR if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful yet you refuse its deletion and we no longer need the data, but you require it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR;
- to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 of the GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or workplace or at our company headquarters.
6. Right Of Objection
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 of the GDPR if there are reasons for doing so that arise from your specific situation. In this case, your data will no longer be processed unless the organizer can prove compelling reasons for the processing that outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the person concerned, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
