The Thermal ECO modules extend the range of MOBOTIX 7 cameras with the wide viewing angles of 24°x18°, 56°x42° and 105°x75°. The modules with CIF resolution (320x240) for the S74 and M73 provide an affordable basic thermal solution for applications in which precise temperature measurement is not required — e.g. for perimeter protection in complete darkness and without violation of privacy (GDPR).

The new Thermal ECO module is the MOBOTIX thermal module with the largest horizontal image angle of 105° (see image on left). For comparison, you can see the module with a 56° image angle on the right. (The thermal modules were positioned at a height of three meters above the ground and at a distance of approximately five meters from the person standing in the middle in the left-hand image.) Choose from several display colors. For example, the "amber" display shown is very well suited for perimeter protection applications, as it allows you to clearly distinguish between the surface temperatures of objects in any lighting situation and to easily detect moving objects or people.
